Researcher @ Adaptative Responses Study Group (ARs Group)
Approach health in a holistic way, always connecting mental health with physical well-being, where exercise/physical activity should be seen as a true “pill” for the prevention and rehabilitation of all conditions.
About
Pedro is passionate about sports and is currently part of the ARs Group research team, where he focuses on exploring human physiology and how exercise triggers adaptive responses in the body. With experience as a physiologist at SC Braga, he is also deeply interested in high-performance sports and human performance.
He is now completing his master’s degree, conducting his dissertation in the field of molecular biology and physical activity, aiming to uncover whether there are differences in the function and prevalence of extracellular mitochondria between athletes and sedentary individuals.
